Conference held at State Migration Service

Service conference was held at the State Migration Service with the participation of the heads of the relevant structural units, regional migration departments and subordinate organizations of the Service. At the conference discussions were held on the analysis of service activities, as well as transparent and flexible solution of the tasks set forth within the framework of the competences defined by the legislation.

Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov noted that in order to meet the demands of President Ilham Aliyev, each migration employee must work hard and in compliance with the demands of the modern period to ensure execution of the tasks in time and with high professionalism. In our country, attention should be increased to flexible solution of issues related to migration, ensuring satisfaction of service users and transparency, as well as improvement of the service quality.

V.Huseynov added that measures are continued to ensure convenience of foreigners and stateless persons, as well as transparency. Amendments in Azerbaijan's migration legislation serve to this purpose, as well. Thus, each employee of the migration bodies must fulfill its duty with great responsibility and should not give opportunity to the moments that can lead to negative situations.

Chief of the Service emphasized that employees who work in migration bodies should work harder for ensuring the satisfaction of applicants, successful execution of duties and tasks such as the regulation of migration processes and protection of the internal labor market.

Later on heads of structural units delivered reports.

Discussions were held on further improvement of the Service activity.

Chief of the Service gave specific instructions to the heads of relevant bodies in the direction of solution of the raised issues in compliance with the legislation.
