Joint meeting on "Advanced Migration Profile of the Republic of Azerbaijan" held at State Migration Service

Representatives of 11 central executive authorities, civil society institutions and experts attended the joint meeting on “Advanced Migration Profile of the Republic of Azerbaijan" organized by the State Migration Service (SMS) together with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Head of the Migration Policy and Legal Support General Department Vahid Gahramanov delivered a speech about the essence of the project. He emphasized that the aim of the "Advanced Migration Profile of the Republic of Azerbaijan" to be drafted within the framework of the project on "Consolidation of Migration and Border Management Capacities in Azerbaijan" is to support the development of our country's migration policy based on regional and global commitments.

Representatives of IOM mission in Azerbaijan and experts delivered presentations and priorities were analyzed at the meeting.
