71 foreigners detained during the measures against illegal migration within three days

Measures within the framework of the fight against illegal migration are being continued by State Migration Service (SMS).

71 foreigners who are citizens of different countries were detained as a result of the measures taken by State Migration Service against illegal migration within three days. It was determined that 10 of them violated declared purpose of their arrival in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 8 of them did not live in the registered address and the rest 53 persons were living illegally on the territory of the country. 

Administrative decisions were taken about 51 of the detained foreigners and measures are being taken for expulsion of the remaining detained foreigners from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
