57 foreigners detained during the measures against illegal migration in the last two days

As a result of the measures taken by State Migration Service against illegal migration on July 30 and 31, in total 57 foreigners were detained.   Among them are 15 citizens of India, 15 citizens of  Turkmenistan, 9 citizens of Georgia, 4 citizens of Russia, 3 citizens of Turkey, 2 citizens of Pakistan, 2 citizens of Nepal, 2 citizens of Kazakhstan, 1 citizen of Egypt, 1 citizen of Iraq, 1 citizen of Poland, 1 citizen of Italy and 1 is a stateless person living in the Republic of Austria.

It was determined that 1 of the detained Turkmenistan citizens violated declared purpose of arrival in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, another 47 persons were living illegally in the country.

Administrative decisions were taken about 41 of the detained foreigners and measures are being taken in the context of expulsion of 14 Indian and 2 Nepali citizens from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.   

Measures within the framework of fight against illegal migration are being continued by State Migration Service.
