State Migration Service held an awareness-raising event in Shamakhi

In Shamakhi, which is included to the service area of Aghsu Regional Migration Department an awareness-raising event was held by State Migration Service for the purpose of enlightenment of the public, foreigners and stateless persons in the field of migration.

At the event organized in the administrative building of the Heydar Aliyev Center participated representatives of administrative territorial units, members of municipalities, department, and  enterprise managers, officials  of law enforcement agencies, health, education, Shamakhi regional branch of tourism agency, representatives of hotels, recreation centers, foreigners and stateless persons living in the area.

Deputy Chief of Shamakhi Executive Power Gulnisa Alakbarova expressed her gratitude to the SMS for the awareness-raising events organized in the regions. She emphasized the role and significance of holding such events regularly in raising awareness of the citizens.

 There was a presentation on the addendums and amendments to the migration legislation.

The speakers gave detailed information to the event participants on recent addendums and amendments to the Code of Migration and the Code of Administrative Offenses. It was noted that regulation of migration processes in the country is improved in line with  requirements of the modern era. Amendments to the Migration Code serves to improve the conditions of citizens, foreigners and stateless persons, migrant workers, to increase their satisfaction, to ensure their comfort, and transparency, free use of  rights foreigners who have family ties and business relations within the territory of the country.

Afterwards questions of the event participants were answered by the employees.

At the end of the event, 6 people were provided with mobile services.
