Lankaran, Yardimli and Masalli communities enlightened about migration

In connection with the start of summer tourism season State Migration Service held awareness raising events with public representatives, foreigners and stateless persons, as well as  the representatives of hotels, sanatorium, rest house, camping, tourist base, employees of the local executive authorities, operating in the regions included to  the service area of Lankaran Regional Migration Department.                        

A broad explanatory talks at the informative and awareness-raising events was held on the registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon place of stay and electronic services provided by the State Migration Service in the administrative building of the Executive Power of the Yardimli district, at the Cultural Center of Lankaran city and Youth Center of Masalli district. 

It was noted that foreigners or stateless persons who wants to temporarily stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 10 days should register upon place of stay within 10 days. Registration of foreigners upon place of stay is carried out in the "ASAN service" centers in parallel with the Regional Migration Departments of the Service. It is also possible to apply for registration upon place of stay through the official website of SMS (migration.gov.az), e-government portal (www.e-gov.az) and e-mail (registration@migration.gov.az). It was highlighted that 56 thousand 607 persons applied for registration of foreigners upon place of stay in the country in May of this year. It was mentioned that no state fee is required for registration of foreigners upon place of stay.
