The Chief of State Migration Service met with members of Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce

The chief of State Migration Service, Vusal Huseynov met with the delegation of Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce (“AmCham”) in the headquarters of the Service.

The purpose of the meeting, which was of an introductory nature was to discuss business relations and future prospects of cooperation. 

Vusal Huseynov gave information about the measures taken on further improvement of the business environment in the country and the development of entrepreneurship within the competences of the Service. Chief of the Service spoke about the increasing transparency on issuance of work permit and the work done to ensure flexibility on review of employers' applications. He emphasized that relevant measures are being taken for rapid solution of entrepreneurs’ appeals to the Service and their questions that may arise. He stated that State Migration Service is expanding cooperation with local and foreign businessmen in our country.  In this regard current meeting has important character and good opportunity for sharing our future views.

President of the Borard of Directors of AmCham, Nuran Kerimov expressed his gratitude for the sincere reception and his satisfaction for the establishment of effective cooperation. He mentioned that  American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan is a leading nonprofit association supporting and promoting the interests of more than 280 foreign and domestic companies in our country. The main purpose is to promote their business interests by providing high-quality services to member organizations, as well as to work on improving business environment in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting future prospects of bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest were discussed.
