An event on the occasion of International Day for Protection of Children organized by the State Migration Service

The event on the occasion of June 1 - International Day for Protection of Children was organized by the State Migration Service with the participation of children growing up in families who have been granted refugee status or have applied for refugee status in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the event authorized representatives of the Service congratulated children who is a sensible and fragile group of the society with the remarkable holiday occasion and wished them health and happiness.  

It was noted that children who is our future are always treated with love in Azerbaijan possessing with national-moral values. All conditions for their healthy, educated and patriotic growth have been created. Children of foreigners growing up in Azerbaijan, known as a tolerant country in the world, are also covered with attention, care and kindness. This organized festival is an expression of our state's care not only to the citizens of the country, but also the children of foreigners.

Due to this remarkable day the gifts were presented to children participating in the festival by Trade Union Committee of the SMS. 

Afterwards the excursion of minors to the State Historical-Architectural Reserve "IcheriSheher" was organized. Foreigners and their parents were informed about the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and other rich history and material-cultural monuments.

The event left pleasant marks in the memory of children and was highly welcomed by the parents. They thanked to Azerbaijan for this attention to their children.
