56 foreigners were detained during the measures against illegal migration

The State Migration Service keeps going the measures against illegal migration.

As a result of the measures taken by the State Migration Service against illegal migration 56 foreigners were detained. 13 of them are the citizens of India, 12 citizens of Turkey, 10 citizens of Pakistan, 7 citizens of Iran, 7 citizen of Nepal, 4 citizens of Uzbekistan, 2 citizens of Georgia and 1 citizen of Turkmenistan. 38 of them have been placed in the Baku city Detention Center for Illegal Migrants.

During the investigation, engagement of 4 Turkish citizens to illegal labor activity, illegal street commerce by Pakistan citizen Muhammad Munir, violation of the rules of stay and residence on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan by other foreigners was found out.

It was determined that Thapa Dal Bahadur, Nepali Bhim and Karki Rameshin, citizens of Nepal, were brought here and accommodated with the purpose of crossing Turkey by the person named Raju from India. These Nepal citizens were promised to cross Iran from Azerbaijan, a then legalization in Turkey and by this way, created conditions for illegal migration. Due to realized measures in advance, the attempt of organization of negative migration channel was prevented.

Citizens of Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran were provided to leave the country; there are realized appropriate measures in the direction of expulsion of other citizens from the territory of the country.
