Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Azerbaijan visited State Migration Service

The head of the State Migration Service (SMS) Vusal Huseynov met with a head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to Azerbaijan Elena Aymone Sessera on May, 17.

The purpose of the acquaintance meeting is to expand bilateral cooperation.

V.Huseynov gave information about the activities and works carried out by the Service. He noted that the State Migration Service closely cooperates with international organizations. The Service chief, talking about the significance of cooperation with ICRC and noted about further continuation and development of the relations.   

Mrs. Elena Aymone Sessera, expressing gratitude for the warm reception and pleased with the meeting, spoke about the projects realized by ICRC in Azerbaijan. She highly appreciated cooperation between SMS and the organization she represents.

The prospects of bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest in the migration field were discussed at the meeting.
