The tournament on chess and checkers among employees of migration bodies was launched

On the occasion of the 100th year’s anniversary of the formation of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan, a tournament on chess and checkers among the staff of the State Migration Service was launched.

The purpose of the competitions, organized by the Trade Union Committee of the SMS, is the organization of fruitful leisure of the employees and demonstration of their intellectual potential and mental activity.

Elman Aliyev, the Deputy Chief of the Service, II rank state migration service counselor, greeted the participants of the tournament and wished them good luck. He informed about the path of independence passed by the first democratic republic in the Muslim East, about the achievements and the adoption of the State Program for the Development of Chess. E. Aliyev noted that the Order of President Ilham Aliyev on the celebration of the 100th year`s anniversary of the formation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic at the state level is a manifestation of attention and concern for our national identity and a rich history of statehood.

Employees of various structural subdivisions of the Service take part in the competitions. The organization of competitions, taking place in a competitive environment, is regarded positively.
