An event was held in Ganja to inform the publicity on migration

There are held meetings and events to inform and educate the publicity in the field of ​​migration in cities and regions located in the service areas of the Regional Migration Departments of the State Migration Service.

The next event from this series was organized in the administrative building of Ganja Regional Migration Department of SMS. The representatives of large hotels and rest houses, foreign and local employers operating in the service areas of Ganja regional migration office have participated in the meeting.

The reports on the "Guidelines of registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon the place of stay and administrative responsibility intended for violation of registration rules", "Guidelines of obtaining work permissions by employers and submission of forecast data on labor migration quota to the State Migration Service" were listened.

It was noted that due to approaching the summer season, the number of foreigners traveling to our country increases and majority of them stay in hotels. From this point of view, close participation of the hotels in the registration of foreigners upon the places of stay is very important. It was underlined that the foreigners should register upon the place of stay within 10 days of arrival in the country, in case of staying in our country for more than 10 days.

There was comprehended detailed information on guidelines of employers’ obtaining work permissions for involving the foreigners to labor activity and forecast data on labor migration quota.

At the same time, importance of foreigners’ obtaining relevant visa according to the purpose of their visit to the country was underlined.
