Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has finished in Baku
According to this grandiose sports event, the tasks assigned to the State Migration Service to ensure comfortable arrival and leaving of foreigners to our country have been successfully implemented.
13 out of 20 pilots have reached the finish line at the main stage of Grand Prix, strained sports competition.
The winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix became British Grandmaster of “Mercedes” team Luis Hamilton. The pilot finished the distance in 1 hour 43 minutes to 44,291 seconds. Kimi Raikkonen, “Ferrari” driver became second, and Sergio Peres, “Force India” pilot became third.
Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented the cup to Luis Hamilton, the winner of the Grand Prix.
Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Lady of Azerbaijan presented the Constructors' Cup to William Qolbourne, the representative of "Mercedes" team.
Luis Hamilton, winner of Baku track, took the lead in the championship ahead of “Ferrari” pilot Sebastian Fettel. Due to this victory, the British pilot has risen to the top of the list, having 70 points. S. Fettel, declining to the second place has 66 points. “Ferrari” pilot Kimi Raikkonen, second place in Azerbaijan Grand Prix, ranks third in the standings with 48 points. Sergio Perez, the “Force India” pilot ranked the third place in Grand Prix climbed to the 9th position.
In the team competitions “Ferrari” team is in the first place with 114 points. "Mercedes" team took the second place with 110 points, as well as "Red Bull Racing" - the third with 55 points.
Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix launched on April 27 in Baku.
It should be mentioned that the Mercedes-Benz pilot German Niko Rosberg was the winner of the Formula 1 European Grand Prix in Baku in 2016. Last year, the Formula 1 Grand Prix ended with the victory of Daniel Riccardo, the Australian pilot of Red Bull Racing team.
