10 illegal migrants detained

The State Migration Service continues measures against illegal migration.

The Service detained 1 citizen of Morocco and 1 citizen of Cameroon. At the same time, 8 citizens of Nepal were detained during the measures against illegal migration carried out jointly with the State Security Service.

During the investigation it was revealed that the citizens of Morocco and Nepal violated the rules on stay and residence. The citizens of Nepal were promised a high salary job in Azerbaijan by their compatriot Parajuli Sitaram, were deceived and brought to Azerbaijan and became illegal migrants afterwards. Parajuli Sitaram had been expelled from the territory of the country in administrative order by the State Migration Service for illegal acts, committed by him previously.

Furthermore it was revealed that citizen of Cameroon Lourile Teneng Meshi Christellen, who was detained for illegal residence on the territory of the country, had been a student in Azerbaijan. So permission for temporary residence was issued to L.T. Meshi Christellen based on full-time education, but despite of the cancelation of the permission, he avoided to leave the country.

Relevant measures are continued for  the expulsion of the mentioned persons from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan in administrative order.
