STATE MIGRATION SERVICE IS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE TASKS SET FORWARD
On March 19, 11 years will pass since the establishment of State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. March 19 is the professional holiday of migration bodies’ employees, as well.
On the occasion of this memorable day management of State Migration Service and a group of employees commemorated the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev with esteem.
Memory of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Ms. Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated, fresh flowers were put on her grave.
Later unforgettable memories of Motherland’s children who sacrificed their lives for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was recalled, wreath was laid in front of “Eternal Fire” monument.
Afterwards ceremonial event dedicated to 11th anniversary of the establishment of State Migration Service and professional holiday of migration bodies’ employees was held at the Headquarters of the entity.
At the event Chief of State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev delivered a comprehensive speech about establishment, development and current activity of the authority. At the report it was emphasized that with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated March 17, 2010, every year March 19 is celebrated as the professional holiday of migration bodies’ employees.
Reporter stated that in the last 11 years practical measures were carried out towards improving management, enhancing capacity building, strengthening service discipline, establishing normative legal and material- technical basis. Serving with loyalty to our nation, state and statehood the employees of State Migration Service always successfully execute the assigned duties. Tasks set forward during grandiose international sports events– IV Islamic Solidarity Games, Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Final Round of the 2017 Volleyball European Championship among women held in Baku city and Goygol district and other international events organized in our country last year - were successfully completed. Important tasks have been determined for SMS this year related to international events held in our country. There is no doubt that, the Service once again will successfully overcome these tasks.
Service Chief stated that today sustainable development traditions of the country economy founded by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev successfully continues. He underlined with pleasure that owing to the great attention and care, at the same time strict control and demand, SMS turned into a highly professional mobile entity which is capable to successfully execute all the tasks set forward by the legislation.
Firudin Nabiyev told that decisions taken, as well as the attention and care demonstrated today for the development of State Migration Service is always met with gratitude and enthusiasm by the staff. Appreciation of the Service by the head of state, his valuable comments and recommendations is accepted as guiding principles and encourages migration bodies’ employees to greater achievements. As a result of the unparalleled support of the state, systematic measures have been taken for the construction of the administrative buildings of the State Migration Service’s headquarters, as well as regional migration departments and service conditions have been aligned with the international standards.
At the end of the speech Firudin Nabiyev expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev who has always highly appreciated the activity of migration bodies, awarded a number of employees with state rewards and high special ranks on the eve of the professional holiday, as well as signed relevant orders on improvement of social protection. He stated with assurance that employees of the SMS will ensure vigilantly the protection of the independence, stability, security, domestic market, as well as rights and freedoms of foreigners and stateless persons arriving in our country, use their best efforts and skills, improve their professionalism.
After the Orders of the head of state on awarding a number of employees on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the establishment of State Migration Service and the professional holiday of the migration bodies’ employees, as well as orders signed by the Service chief were announced, the state rewards and shoulder straps of special ranks were presented to those distinguished in the service.
