State Migration Service held an event dedicated to International Women's Day

Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev congratulated female employees working at migration bodies on the occasion of March 8 - the International Women's Day.

He said that the participation and achievements of the young Azerbaijani women, who have turned into a worthy successor of its predecessors as a model of the moral heritage of the generations, in the life of our independent country is a gratifying case. Because the Azerbaijani women have always been famous through the history with their mind, intelligence, honor, honesty, chastity, selflessness, diligence, frankness, patriotism, love for their nation and land.

It was stressed that the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev always demonstrated care for women, who had been active in the political life and economic development of our country, and highly appreciated their role in society. Today, President Ilham Aliyev pays attention to women's labor, protection of their rights and the organization of their recreation. Today modern Azerbaijani women serve to the people and society with their profound intelligence and inexhaustible potential as a conveyor of high dignity of our remarkable female personalities and our elderly mothers.

It was noted that the Azerbaijani woman, who received the right to vote 100 years ago for the first time in the East, now participates in the most important international organizations. First Vice President of our country Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva demonstrates to the whole world that the Azerbaijani woman can be both a wonderful mother and an active public figure.

At the end F.Nabiyev once again congratulated women on the occasion of the holiday and wished them success in their service activities.
