An event on the occasion of Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis was held

An event was held at State Migration Service on the occasion of December 31 - Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and New Year.

After performing the national anthem of Azerbaijan deputy chief of the Service, III rank state migration service counselor Parviz Musayev made a speech, congratulated the event participants on the occasion of Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and New Year and wished them success. He mentioned that the purpose of Solidarity Day is respect to national moral values, loyalty to the Motherland and the idea of Azerbaijanism. In this regard, consistent measures which were based on the Azerbaijanism ideology and founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev were stressed. He stated successful continuation of this policy by President Ilham Aliyev.

It was emphasized that the commitment of our compatriots living around the globe to national values and consolidation of their ties with the Motherland is always in the center of the attention the state. Philosophical and political significance of closer unification around Azerbaijanism ideology in order protect national interests of our compatriots was mentioned referring to ideas in the recent address of the President of Azerbaijan to world Azerbaijanis. It was once again pointed out that today the Republic of Azerbaijan has great economic, political and cultural potential.  

At the end the tasks set forth were discussed and wishes were delivered for 2018.
