The next short-term advanced training course is on “State Regulation of Migration Processes” at the Academy of Public Administration 

On December 18 a short-term advanced training course on "State regulation of migration processes" was launched at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Rector of the Academy, academician Urkhan Alakbarov gave an address at the opening ceremony of the course, organized to deliver, clarify and interpret the ongoing state policy on the management of migration processes to the attention of senior staff of law enforcement agencies and other public entities. He talked about the successful work carried out in all spheres in our country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, also touched upon the steps taken for training of highly qualified specialists, improving qualification and building capacity of employees of separate central and local bodies of executive power. As another example of close cooperation with the State Migration Service, he expressed his confidence that the qualification course on "State regulation of migration processes" would yield efficient results in accordance with the determined strategy.

Chief of Migration Policy and Legal Support Head Department of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, III rank state migration service counselor Vahid Gahramanov mentioned the importance of the advanced training course, organized in terms of knowledge systematization on actual problems of reforms in migration sphere, legislation in the field of migration, acquiring and implementation of international practices, human rights conception and other issues in the republic.

It was noted that 30 employees from 12 ministries, committees, state services, agencies and the highest body of the state authority were involved in the course organized as continuation of the effective cooperation between the Personnel and staff training department of the Service and the Academy of Public Administration.

At the advanced training course authorized employees of SMS will deliver lectures on "Migration processes and state control over these processes in Azerbaijan", "Organization of work on legal support in migration bodies", "Rules of consideration of applications for refugee status", "Conducting and regulating state policy on labor migration ", "Conducting migration record and results achieved in this area " , etc.
