Illegal migration facts were revealed by State Migration Service  

9 Indian, 1 Bangladeshi and 1 Nigerian citizen who illegally resided within the territory of the country were detained during the measures against illegal migration by State Migration Service.

During investigation it was determined that Indian citizens Marimuthu Suresh, Murugeshan Jayanal, Murugeshan Vignes, Manikandar Mathivazhagan, Elayaraja Radhakrishna, Vallyakalam Sebastian, Puthenpuraparmbu Majeed, Philip Rony, Cherian Sunish came to the country with e-visa issued via “ASAN Visa” system. It was revealed that the abovementioned foreigners were deceived and brought in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the citizen of Sri Lanka Sahul Hameeduge Sanoordeen with the promise of obtaining relevant residence permits.

Furthermore, it was discovered that the aforementioned Indian citizens and Nigerian citizen Akhabue Wilfred Ehikioya are residing without any registration, they were promised to obtain temporary residence permits under the guise of education and provided with conditions for their illegal residence in the country by Elnur Mammadov, administrator of “Sport Baku Hostel”.

Moreover, it was found out that Bangladesh citizen MD Shawa Buhiya born on August 01, 1988 who was detained in “Sport Baku Hostel” has been expelled from the territory of the country in administrative way before and he deliberately forged his passport data as Nur Mohammad born on August 10, 1988.

Measures in the framework of fight against illegal migration are continued by State Migration Service.
