The event on the occasion of 1 June - International Day for Protection of Children was organized by the State Migration Service

The event dedicated to the 1 June - International Day for Protection of Children was held in Detention center for illegal migrants of the State Migration Service in Baku with the participation of children, growing up in families who have been granted refugee status or have applied for refugee status. The event participants firstly got acquainted with the Center. The children had a wonderful time at the children's entertainment area of the Center.

Afterwards, the event was held at the festive table. Officials of the Service and the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the SMS congratulated all the children with the holiday and wished them a happy and prosperous future.

It was noted that the foundation of children policy was laid by National leader Heydar Aliyev, and today all children in our country are surrounded with the special attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev. The party, which was organized for the children of foreign families, is an integral part of that policy. It was mentioned that Azerbaijan is a multiethnic and multi-religious country where the national policy is planned and carried out in the spirit of traditional tolerance and harmonic coexistence of different ethnic and religious groups. The equality of all citizens without any ethnic, national, religious or linguistic definition is guaranteed by the state.

It was brought to the attention that, the activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation is an example of best care shown to our children and mobilizes the community to treat them with care and attention.

At the event organized for minors from vulnerable category, the gifts were presented to children. At the same time, the families of children who attended the meeting were also given holiday gifts.

The event was highly welcomed by the parents and left pleasant marks in the memory of children.
