The temporary staying period of the citizens of the Russian Federation and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan under visa-free regime has been determined 90 days within a calendar year from January 1, 2025.

Citizens of the Russian Federation and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation who wish to stay or reside in the country for more than 90 days within a year must apply to the State Migration Service for an extension of this period or the issuance of a temporary residence permit before the expiration of their temporary staying period in case there are grounds envisaged in the legislation.
